About United Women in Climate Change and WASH

United Women in Climate Change and WASH is a grassroots movement empowering women and youth in Kabarole District and Fort Portal Tourism City to lead climate action and community transformation. We integrate agroforestry, eco-entrepreneurship, riverbank restoration, and climate-smart WASH solutions to build resilient communities. By fostering leadership, financial inclusion, and environmental stewardship, we shift women and youth from climate burden bearers to empowered solution providers. Rooted in local leadership and guided by the spirit of Ubuntu, we work collaboratively to create a just, sustainable future for all.
